Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Jobmili collects on https://www.jobmili.com and the Jobmili app, why we collect it, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Account details: name, mobile number, email address, city, and whether you are a job seeker or employer.
• Job seeker profile: the job you want, job types, expected salary, experience, education and your resume file.
• Employer details: company name, city, GST number if given, and the jobs you post.
• Activity: jobs you apply to, application status, and reports you send.
• Payments: plan, amount and payment reference. Card and bank details are handled by the payment gateway, not stored by us.
• Technical data: basic logs such as browser type and time of visit, used to keep the site secure.

Why we use it

• To create your account and log you in with a one-time code.
• To show jobs, send applications to employers and show you application updates.
• To send job alerts and updates you asked for, by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
• To verify employers, prevent fake jobs and fraud, and handle reports.
• To process payments, issue GST invoices and meet legal duties.

Who can see your data

• Employers you apply to see your name, mobile number, profile and resume.
• Employers searching for candidates (when this feature is available) can see your profile only if you turned on "Show my profile to employers". You can turn it off at any time.
• Service providers who run parts of Jobmili for us: hosting, database and file storage, email and SMS delivery, and payments. They may only use the data to provide their service to us.
• Authorities when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

Your consent and choices

By creating an account and applying to jobs, you consent to the uses above. You can withdraw consent by turning off profile visibility or alerts in My profile, or by deleting your account.

Your rights

• See the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct or update it; most details can be edited in My profile.
• Delete your account and data. Write to support@jobmili.com from your registered email or mobile.
• Raise a complaint with our grievance officer, and if you are not satisfied, with the Data Protection Board of India.

How long we keep data

We keep your data while your account is active. After you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your data within 30 days, except payment and invoice records, which we keep as long as tax law requires.

Security

Data is sent over secure HTTPS connections. Resumes are stored privately and can be opened only by you and by employers you applied to, through short-lived links. Access inside Jobmili is limited to people who need it.

Grievance officer

support@jobmili.com. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
